Walk-ins will be taken at the morning venue – Temple Beth Hatfiloh (201 8th Ave SE)beginning at 8:30 AM on 2/20.
Join NAMI Washington members from across the state for our annual lobby day in Olympia. NAMI members and supporters are the most effective people to educate legislators about mental illness and the need to cahnge our current “mental illness” system to a “mental health” system. Our lobby day will include a morning breakfast and issues update and advocacy skills training, and the afternoon will include a legislative luncheon reception in Room 112 of the Legislative Building on the Capital Campus.
8:30 – 9:00 AM: Arrival and continental breakfast
9:00 – 10:30 AM: Welcome, Legislative Issues, and Advocacy Skills
10:45- 3:00 PM: Legislative Visits
12:30 PM: Legislative Luncheon Reception
